Project Manager – High-End Real Estate & Equestrian Infrastructure Antwerp & Limburg | Stephex Group

in Hybrid (Wolvertem)

Develop exceptional real estate projects.

Stephex Group is an entrepreneurial Belgian family-owned group active in premium mobility, the equestrian world and real estate. Within our real estate division, we acquire existing riding arenas and equestrian facilities to renovate, modernise and bring them back to the market for rental or sale. We also develop high-end residential real estate projects.

To further expand our real estate activities, we are looking for an independent Project Manager to oversee construction and renovation projects from A to Z.

You will work on projects in locations including Zoersel, Maaseik and Zandhoven, taking responsibility for their technical, financial and operational management. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, organising your projects independently, managing external partners and ensuring that all work is delivered according to schedule, budget and quality expectations.

What will you do?

Manage projects from A to Z

  • Assess the technical condition of existing buildings and sites.

  • Contribute ideas for the renovation, layout and further development of projects.

  • Prepare project schedules and budgets and monitor them closely.

  • Monitor timelines, quality, costs and risks throughout the entire project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate project handovers and ensure that each site is ready for rental, sale or occupancy.

Manage contractors and external partners

  • Coordinate architects, engineering consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Establish clear agreements regarding scope of work, deadlines and budgets.

  • Visit construction sites regularly and ensure that work is progressing according to plan.

  • Take timely action in response to delays, technical issues or deviations.

  • Monitor quotations, contracts and progress statements.

Safeguard quality and project profitability

  • Evaluate technical solutions and propose improvements where necessary.

  • Strike the right balance between cost, functionality, sustainability and finishing quality.

  • Monitor the financial feasibility and profitability of projects.

  • Ensure that the final quality meets the expectations of the high-end real estate market.

  • Follow up on permits and technical documentation in collaboration with the relevant specialists.

Work closely with management

  • Act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders involved.

  • Report directly to management on project progress, budgets, risks and key decisions.

  • Identify issues at an early stage and propose practical solutions.

  • Make independent decisions within your area of responsibility and ensure efficient project execution.

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership and delivering projects independently.

  • Experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, Construction Manager or Client Representative within the construction, real estate or renovation sector.

  • Strong technical construction knowledge and the ability to critically assess plans, quotations and execution details.

  • Experience in project planning, budget management, site supervision and coordinating external partners.

  • Financial acumen, with a strong focus on cost control and profitability.

  • An independent, hands-on and solution-oriented approach.

  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities effectively.

  • A direct and professional communication style.

  • A keen eye for quality and finishing.

Experience with equestrian facilities, riding arenas or agricultural real estate is an advantage, but not a requirement. An affinity with the equestrian world is important.

You are fluent in Dutch and able to communicate professionally in English. Knowledge of French is an asset. You hold a valid category B driving licence and are willing to visit construction sites regularly across Antwerp and Limburg.

What's in it for you?

  • Autonomy and trust: the freedom to organise your projects independently and make decisions.

  • Direct access to management: short communication lines and fast decision-making.

  • Varied projects: ranging from the renovation of equestrian facilities to high-end residential real estate development.

  • Tangible impact: involvement in projects from the initial technical assessment through to final handover.

  • An entrepreneurial environment: a fast-paced setting, tight deadlines and a strong focus on results.

  • A long-term collaboration: working on a self-employed basis, with a market-aligned fee reflecting your experience and responsibilities.
