Project Manager – High-End Real Estate & Equestrian Infrastructure - Antwerp & Limburg

in Hybrid (Wolvertem)

Stephex Group is an entrepreneurial Belgian family-owned group active in premium mobility, equestrian sports and real estate. Within our real estate division, we are developing a specialised portfolio of high-end projects, with a strong focus on equestrian infrastructure.

We acquire existing riding schools and equestrian sites, renovate and optimise them, and subsequently bring them back to the market through rental or sale. In addition, we develop luxury residential real estate projects.

To further develop this distinct growth segment, we are looking for an independent Project Manager – High-End Real Estate & Equestrian Infrastructure for the Antwerp–Limburg region.

You will take ownership of projects such as our sites in Zoersel, Maaseik and Zandhoven, managing them from technical analysis and preparation through to completion and operational handover.

You will have a high degree of autonomy and be the driving force behind your projects. You will coordinate architects, engineering consultants, contractors and suppliers, monitor budgets, timelines and quality, and report clearly to management.

Our environment is entrepreneurial and demanding: decisions are made quickly, deadlines are tight and the quality bar is high. We are therefore looking for someone who can independently set priorities, take ownership and deliver practical solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Independently manage multiple renovation and development projects from technical due diligence and concept phase through to completion.

  • Develop realistic project schedules and budgets and monitor deadlines, costs, scope, quality and risks.

  • Coordinate architects, engineering consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and utility companies, establishing clear agreements on execution and timing.

  • Regularly monitor construction sites, verify execution and act quickly when deviations, delays or technical issues arise.

  • Translate the specific requirements of premium equestrian infrastructure into sustainable, safe and functional solutions, without compromising on appearance or quality of finish.

  • Manage permits, technical files, quotations, contractual agreements, progress claims, variations and punch-list items in cooperation with internal and external specialists.

  • Act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring short communication lines and clear decision-making.

  • Report concisely and transparently to management on project progress, budget, risks and key decisions.

  • Ensure proper completion, handover and aftercare with a view to the rental, sale or operation of the site.

About you

  • You have relevant experience as a project manager, developer/client representative, site manager or construction project manager within real estate, construction or renovation.

  • You have a strong technical understanding of construction and are able to critically assess plans, quotations and execution details.

  • You are capable of managing projects both financially and operationally, with a disciplined approach to budgets, variations and returns.

  • You work with a high degree of independence, make decisions within your mandate and take initiative to solve problems rather than waiting for instructions.

  • You are able to maintain an overview when multiple projects, diverse stakeholders and tight deadlines come together.

  • You communicate directly and professionally and know how to manage external partners in a results-oriented way.

  • You combine pragmatism and speed with an eye for detail, quality and the high expectations of the luxury segment.

  • Experience with equestrian infrastructure, riding schools or agricultural real estate is a strong asset, but not a requirement. An affinity with the equestrian world is important.

  • You are fluent in Dutch and able to communicate professionally in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

  • You hold a valid driving licence (B) and are willing to travel frequently to construction sites across Antwerp and Limburg.

What we offer

  • A key role with visible impact within a specialised and growing real estate segment of Stephex Group.

  • A high degree of autonomy, short decision-making lines and direct contact with management.

  • A varied portfolio of distinctive equestrian sites and luxury residential projects.

  • The freedom to organise projects in your own way, select partners and further develop a professional project management approach.

  • A dynamic environment with a fast pace, ambitious deadlines and a strong focus on results and quality.

  • A long-term collaboration and a competitive compensation package on a self-employed basis, tailored to your experience and level of responsibility.
